They haven’t quite figured out money yet. Mardi Gras beads lose value fast. Lafitte doesn’t seem to care as long as it’s shiny. Dom was the pet of a gold bug, and who was probably a prepper. Hard to build a fallout shelter in Louisiana swamps though.
